An award-winning journalist, editor and copywriter, Christopher has written for, among others, the Daily Telegraph, ES, Patek Philippe magazine and Wallpaper, reporting on everything from Uruguayan beach resorts to an underground submarine base off the coast of Sweden. More recently he wrote a weekly gardening column for the Independent on Sunday, and he is a regular contributor to Gardens Illustrated magazine.
Forgotten Fruits, his first book, was shortlisted for Food Book of the Year by the Guild of Food Writers, as well as for the 2008 André Simon Award.
Christopher moved from London to Dorset in 2000 and now lives on the Isle of Portland, in a fisherman’s cottage recently featured in Country Living magazine. He is currently working on his second book for Random House, a social history of British forests, which is due for publication in spring 2011.
